It's called "asymmetrical beatcraft" because the beats were expecting me to come at them from behind the wall across the street, but instead I just reached down from above and pulled the beats out of their terrarium.

Seriously, though, this is a celebration of the sawtoothed edge of beatcraft, serving as both an homage to my lifelong love of classic scratching/chopping, and a showcase of freakish tendencies. I used to be a hardcore noise musician and for a while I shunned it to the extreme, focusing on simple beauty, and even though I said "screw yoooouuuu" to everybody who told me I'd lost my edge, I started to miss the ecstatic state brought on by burning sounds up in the cosmic kitchen. SO HERE YOU GO. MY MIDDLE PATH.
