about

Made this while smoking homegrown from the Western Slope of Colorado. Just fun beats, loose vibes, everything recorded straight to tape 100% from an MPC500 being fed records and cuts. For a lot of people in the area this is the album where I made my mark, and the one that I get the most comments about people coming back to. Sometimes I get scared that I'll never live it down, or that the only way people will like me is if I do amorphous dirty hip hop like this. But it's no big. One time I played it at work and my coworker, after being silent for the whole album, looked up after the last note and VERY sarcastically said "well, that was a journey."
